Wairimu Wairobi (Nimo)

Nimo’s career spans corporate and international NGOs in Kenya, through to 17 years in Social Care and NHS England.

Wairimu is a mental health advocate and an ambassador for The Nous Organisation. She joins the team in raising awareness in the Black Asian and Ethnic minorities communities.

Nimo is a retired trade union activist representing, in particular, disabled members of BAME backgrounds.  Privately, she supports people suffering from depression and fibromyalgia across world.

Wairimu received the Little Effects Award for empowering women in 2017 and writes for The Mighty.com

Tumi Sotire

Tumi is  a researcher at the Population Health science institute at Newcastle university. Having overcome personal issues with mental health. It’s an area he is extremely passionate about.

He became an ambassador for The Nous Organisation in 2016. Tumi also advocates for  eurodiversity issues

Treasure Sabs

An entrepreneur and an Enterprise Executive with a National Youth Charity in UK, a youth and adult mental health first aider. Passionate about raising awareness about mental health in the BAME community.

She joined the Nous in 2016

Olivia Joseph Aluko

LLB, B.L, MA (Law)

Olivia is a lawyer, migration scholar author of books and  activist. She is very passionate about family matters and aware that mental health also alters family dynamics .

I am a mental health first aider, and have also completed the Applied Suicide intervention skills training in Suicide First Aid.

Olivia is a foundation member of the Nous Organisation and has been active because she believes in the ethos in supporting, and educating the BAME community about mental health and giving a voice to the voiceless, Olivia mentions that she has great respect for the Visioner.

Olivia volunteers and serves on the board of the Nous Organisation.

Fozia Ansari

Fozia is a non practising barrister of the court England. She is passionate about human rights and being an advocate for the voiceless. She currently works in a Local Authority in UK.

Juwon Amisu

Juwon is a senior mental health nurse, she have a Masters in Public health. Very passionate about disseminating information about Mental Health she joined the Nous Organisation in 2016.

Juwon has interest in working with children to create a better understanding of mental health, as it is not focused on in schools currently. There is no health without mental health.
